Firefly Launches Dev Kits & AI NVRs Based on RK1820/RK1828

The RK1820/RK1828 is a computing coprocessor launched by Rockchip for the AI era. It adopts advanced 3D stacking packaging technology and integrates high-bandwidth embedded on-chip DRAM (2.5GB/5GB version). With the advantages of "high bandwidth + low power consumption", it breaks the energy efficiency and latency limitations of deploying large models on the edge. It brings a "cloud-level response" experience to AI applications.

Achieving Bandwidth Breakthroughs Through 3D Stacking

In larger and more complex applications, the main processing chip has limited bandwidth, memory, and heterogeneous collaboration capabilities, consuming more resources when handling multiple tasks.

3D stacked packaging vertically interconnects multiple chips, thereby significantly improving bandwidth and reducing power consumption.

The AIO-GS1N2 motherboard and GS1-N2 gateway server are now compatible with the RK1820/RK1828 chipset. Combined with the Rockchip RK3588 main control chip, they provide powerful AI computing capabilities, enabling multi-task parallel processing through multimodal AI processing.

They support applications such as speech recognition, video encoding/decoding, and long-context dialogue, providing robust hardware support for smart security, robotics, AI education, enterprise-level AI terminals, and industrial applications.

AIO-GS1N2: Dual-core Motherboard

By employing a dual-core heterogeneous design, one module performs general-purpose computing, while the other handles real-time AI model inference, thereby optimizing resource allocation and enhancing AI processing capabilities.

It features SATA 3.0 and M.2 PCIe interfaces and can be expanded with terabyte-level SSDs. Suitable for products such as smart gateway servers.

GS1-N2: AI NVR Gateway Server

It adopts a dual-processor architecture, with one processor responsible for video decoding and the other for AI processing. Supports up to 8K video decoding, custom event detection, real-time video preview, video retrieval and playback, and 8/16x playback speed and multi-view playback. It has 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, supports PoE/PSE power supply, and has strong compatibility, allowing it to connect to many mainstream network cameras compliant with ONVIF and RTSP standards.
