Firefly K3 Series Launches with Powerful RISC-V Chips, Supports 30B AI Models

This year, SpacemiT Key Stone K3, the world's first mass-produced RISC-V chip that conforms to the RVA23 specification, supports RVV 1024 bit, supports FPB native inference, and supports full virtualization, was released. Firefly has built a complete product matrix based on the K3 main control chip. In terms of product form, we have deployed system on modules, industry motherboards, edge computing computers, and servers.

High-performance RISC-V Processor K3

The K3 chip in the Firefly K3 series products adopts RISC-V homogeneous fusion computing technology, integrating 8 high-performance computing cores X100 and 8 ultra-wide parallel computing AI cores A100. The main frequency is up to 2.4GHz, and the performance of a single CPU core is equivalent to ARM-A76. It can provide 130 KDMIPS of general computing power and 60 TOPS of general AI inference computing power, which is powerful enough to meet the needs of high-performance computing and complex application scenarios.

Supports Running 30B Large Models

The chip provides 60 TOPS of general AI computing power, is compatible with the RVV instruction set, native FP8 inference and multimodal acceleration, and can run large models with 30B parameters offline locally at the edge. The actual throughput exceeds 15 Tokens/S@30B (A3B), enabling efficient deployment of large model privatization and low-latency intelligent inference on the edge.

Native Support for the Linux Mainline Ecosystem

As the world's first K3 chip compliant with the RVA23 Profile, the platform natively supports the Linux kernel mainline (v7.0-rc1) and officially supports mainstream operating systems such as Ubuntu 26.04. Its ecosystem compatibility, system stability, and long-term maintainability fully meet the standards of mainstream computing platforms.
